Renovations will include upgrades to the facility’s cardiac rehabilitation and emergency departments, among other areas. Officials also said they plan to implement other improvements to enhance patient safety and experience and make the building more energy efficient.
Officials expect to complete construction on the facility by October. Upgrades to the hospital’s emergency department will begin after Labor Day.
The hospital underwent a series of updates this past spring to improve road access to the facility, according to the report.
