Akron Children’s Hospital to build pediatric facility: 4 things to know

Akron (Ohio) Children’s Hospital is constructing a standalone pediatric facility in Lisbon, Ohio, reports The Review.

Here are four things to know about the project.

1. The one-story facility is slated to provide nearly 5,000 square feet of space.

2. It will be located near ACH Pediatrics.

3. The facility is expected to boost the number of exam rooms from three to 10, feature two waiting rooms and include parking accommodations, according to the report.

4. Officials anticipate to break ground July 5 and tentatively open in mid December, the report states.
