4 hospitals planning upgrades, expansions

The following hospitals announced or completed plans in the last two weeks to expand, upgrade or renovate their facilities:

1. Parkland Hospital to build $154M Dallas breast cancer center, office complex

Dallas-based Parkland Health & Hospital System plans to break ground next month on a new 525,000-square-foot building that will house a comprehensive breast care center and some administrative offices.

3. Philadelphia's Bryn Mawr Hospital opens $250M patient pavilion

Philadelphia-based Bryn Mawr Hospital opened its $250 million, eight-story patient pavilion Jan. 9 — the largest facility improvement in the hospital's 125-year history

4. Mercyhealth opens $505M Illinois campus

Mercyhealth opened its $505 million Javon Bea Hospital and Physician Clinic-Riverside in Rockford, Ill., Jan. 5.
