3 things to know about Portsmouth Regional Hospital’s planned ER

Portsmouth (N.H.) Regional Hospital plans to build a freestanding emergency room in Seabrook, N.H., The Daily News reports.

Here are three things to know about the hospital’s plans.

1. The goal with the new ER is to serve the New Hampshire communities of Seabrook, Hampton and Hampton Falls, as well as Amesbury and Salisbury in Massachusetts, according to the report.

2. PRH anticipates the new facility will be about 10,000 square feet and bring 50 new jobs to the community.

3. Hospital officials expect the new ER to open in summer 2017.
