CommonWell Health Alliance’s vendor-neutral interoperability service, called CommonWell, embeds into the EHRs of participating providers, allowing them to share patient information with others in the CommonWell network. To date, more than 11,000 providers nationwide have gone live on CommonWell.
CommonWell Health Alliance is a nonprofit trade association founded in 2013 by several top IT vendors, including Allscripts, athenahealth, Cerner and Greenway Health.
