Oregon hospital selects Cerner EHR: 3 things to know

Lakeview, Ore.-based Lake Health District hospital will implement a Cerner EHR system by 2020.

Three things to know:

1. The new Cerner EHR will replace five different EHR systems currently used across the critical access hospital and its clinics.

2. LHD will use CommunityWorks, Cerner’s cloud-based EHR delivery model designed to give patients an up-to-date view of patient medical data in near real time.

3. The hospital will also deploy Cerner’s cloud-based data platform HealtheIntent for population health management.
