Mohawk Valley Health System to go live on Epic

Utica, N.Y-based Mohawk Valley Health System plans to implement an Epic EHR in June, Eyewitness News reports.

Patient health data is currently stored on five different EHR systems across the health system's providers. With the new Epic EHR, the health system's patient data will be stored on a single Epic system.

Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare and St. Elizabeth Medical Center, both in Utica, affiliated in 2014 to form MVHS. Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare has two campuses, with 370 beds and 202 beds, respectively. St. Elizabeth Medical Center has two 201-bed facilities.
