Mercy Medical Center adds app for diabetes management to Cerner EHR

Mercy Medical Center—Des Moines (Iowa) formed a multiyear agreement with TransformativeMed, a digital solutions developer that embeds specialized clinical workflows into Cerner’s EHR, to enhance diabetes management.

TransformativeMed designed its CORES clinical workflow, which is built using Mpages custom toolkit and embedded into Cerner, to streamline clinical communications within the EHR.

The 875-bed hospital added the CORES clinical workflow app GlycemiCare to its Cerner EHR. The GlycemiCare app organizes clinical data within the EHR to help providers assess diabetes patients.
