Meditech modules certified under ONC’s latest health IT product criteria

Meditech achieved certification for a set of its EHR modules under ONC’s 2015 edition health IT product criteria, the health IT vendor confirmed Feb. 6.

The certified modules include Meditech Magic 5.67, Client/Server 5.67, 6.08, 6.15 and 6.16 Acute and Ambulatory. The 2015 edition health IT certification criteria, the latest criteria ONC has released to date, assesses whether software enables eligible providers and hospitals to meet Meaningful Use requirements.

Meditech’s modules were certified by the Drummond Group, one of several software certification organizations ONC approved to test EHR software for compliance with ONC’s criteria.
