Mr. O’Toole oversees Meditech’s business development, product management, interoperability strategy and government affairs initiatives. As part of his new role at CommonWell, he will work with other health IT leaders to govern the nonprofit, which is focused on developing and deploying interoperability solutions.
Meditech has been a contributing member to CommonWell since April 2015. The nonprofit trade association was founded in 2013 by several other top IT vendors, including Allscripts, athenahealth, Cerner, Evident, Greenway Health, McKesson and Sunquest.
