HIMSS Analytics rolls out mobile app for health IT market intelligence

HIMSS Analytics, a subsidiary of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, launched an app for its health IT market intelligence platform, the organization announced Oct. 9.

The app, called Logic Go, aims to help health IT sales professionals identify marketing opportunities with targeted information about healthcare organizations and their key decision makers. Logic Go also flags information about systems that are already installed at various healthcare organizations, so health IT sales professionals better understand their technology footprint.

The app's insights are corralled from the Logic platform, which gathers data from hospitals across the U.S., along with international data from almost 380,000 healthcare facilities in 47 countries in Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. Logic aims to support health IT vendors and startups with actionable data about how various technology solutions perform in the market.

"With this new mobile app, we are giving health IT sales professionals the upper hand with a wealth of insights right at their fingertips. This is a perfect tool to be used on the road, while on site and at client meetings," said Miranda Ladue, vice president of operations at HIMSS Analytics. "Users can easily set their territory and flag certain organizations, then quickly see what hospitals are buying."
