Through the Microsoft Teams EHR connector, clinicians can launch telehealth appointments via their EHRs and allow patients to access virtual care appointments through several different outlets such as their browsers, the Teams app, patient provider portals, or through text messaging, according to an April 12 press release from Microsoft.
The news comes shortly after the tech giant said it is rolling out new cloud capabilities for payers that focus on unlocking unstructured data for better member outreach and care management.
