Epic approved DocASAP, an appointment scheduling solution provider, for the App Orchard, DocASAP announced Oct. 24.
Epic's App Orchard provides an online marketplace for third-party developers to showcase pre-approved reporting, visualization and content apps that run on Epic's software infrastructure. Through the App Orchard, Epic's hospital clients can now integrate DocASAP's scheduling solution, which enables patients to book and reschedule appointments online.
"DocASAP can now integrate our online scheduling platform into a client's Epic system reliably, and with minimal effort, opening up the door to the hundreds of Epic users potentially searching for a scheduling solution," said Sreeman Nanduri, director of integration and implementation at DocASAP.
