EHR vendors stock report: Week of Jan. 22-25

Two of the three major publicly traded EHR vendors saw their stock prices rise last week.

Among the major publicly traded EHR vendors, Cerner saw the largest climb in share price at 3.38 percent.

How the three EHR vendors stacked up as of Jan. 28, with companies listed in alphabetical order:

  • Allscripts (Chicago): $12.01 per share (down 0.33 percent)
  • athenahealth (Watertown, Mass.): $134.40 per share (up 0.34 percent)
  • Cerner (North Kansas City, Mo.): $54.77 per share (up 3.38 percent)

Other top EHRs, including eClinicalWorks, Epic and Meditech, are privately held.

The stock market was closed Jan. 21 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
