Three notes:
1. Charlotte Hungerford Hospital staff have completed months of specialized training for the implementation.
2. A partner of Hartford (Conn.) HealthCare, the hospital will receive onsite support from Hartford HealthCare employees before, during and after the Oct. 1 go live.
3. By transitioning to Epic, Charlotte Hungerford Hospital patients, providers and specialists will be able to access medical data from a single record, which will help prevent duplicate testing and support safer management of patient medications.
