Cerner to complete next 2 phases of Innovations Campus in 2020

Cerner is building two office towers for its Innovations Campus in Kansas City, Mo., a Cerner spokesperson confirmed to Becker's Hospital Review July 26.

The towers — which Cerner broke ground on in 2017 — are part of the third and fourth phases of the EHR vendor's $4.45 billion, 290-acre campus. New Cerner associates will move into the towers when construction is complete in 2020.

Cerner opened its Innovations Campus in March 2017 after completing the first two towers on the grounds, which have a food court, health center, libraries, game room and various gathering areas for meetings.

Cerner expects to complete the final phase of construction by 2025. The completed campus will house 16,000 company employees.
