New Mexico hospital plans $2.5M ER renovation

San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, N.M., is planning a $2.5 million emergency room renovation, according to a KOB report.

The ER renovations will span approximately 10,000 square feet and will include increased bed space, six to eight reclining treatment chairs and a relocated detox room.

With the renovations, the hospital seeks to lower patient service time from 133 minutes to 120 minutes.
