Integrated Solutions Health Network, Optima Health Form ACO

Optima Health, Norfolk, Va.-based Sentara Healthcare’s health plan, and Johnson City, Tenn.-based Integrated Solutions Health Network, an affiliated company of Mountain States Health Alliance, have formed an accountable care organization network in southwest Virginia.

The ACO will reward providers for improving population health and patient experience while lowering costs.

ISHN currently participates in a Medicare Shared Savings ACO, AnewCare Collaborative. “We are looking forward to leveraging this clinically integrated network in delivering low-cost health insurance and superior healthcare to individuals, employers and local municipalities,” Rob Slattery, president and CEO of ISHN, said in the news release.
