Amazon sees 4 healthcare leaders exit in 2025

Four leaders of Amazon’s healthcare units announced plans to exit the company in 2025.

Here are the leaders who have departed or announced plans to leave in 2025, as reported by Becker’s:

  • In March, Trent Green, CEO of primary care company One Medical — which Amazon acquired for $3.9 billion in 2023 — announced he was leaving for a new role at National Research Corp., a healthcare analytics and services provider.

  • Vin Gupta, MD, who served as chief medical officer of Amazon Pharmacy, departed the company in March. Amazon hired Dr. Gupta in 2020.

  • In June, CNBC reported that Aaron Martin, vice president of healthcare, and Sunita Mishra, MD, chief medical officer of Amazon Health Services, also left the company. These two executive departures had not been previously reported.
