One Medical, a hybrid primary care company acquired by Amazon in 2023 for $3.9 billion, plans to open its fifth office in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area, in Plano, according to the Oct. 2 story. One Medical partners with Baylor Scott & White Health on specialty care referrals in that market.

“This expansion underscores our ongoing commitment to making exceptional primary care widely accessible across Texas, in partnership with Baylor Scott & White Health,” Greg Hayes, MD, Dallas district medical director of One Medical, said in a statement to the news outlet.

One Medical declined to make the lease terms available to the Business Journal. The company provides concierge primary care and 24/7 virtual treatment options to members who pay the subscription fee.
