Microsoft taps app company for healthcare cloud

Microsoft has picked a Georgia-based enterprise cloud and applications company to assist with care coordination and digital marketing on its healthcare cloud computing network.

Alithya will integrate its 365 Power Apps for Healthcare into the Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare for physician relationship management, patient outreach, marketing analytics and facilities management.

The apps "give hospitals and doctors a way to use technology to stay in control of patient and community health populations," said Ryan Casey, vice president of customer experience for Alithya, in a June 6 news release. "We are excited to bring this Microsoft-driven functionality to the healthcare market in a way that supports security, compliance and interoperability data for every step of the patient journey."
