The health system will be transitioning to emails that end with mgb.org — replacing partners.org — in stages throughout 2023, a spokesperson told Becker’s.

The move is another step in the five-year rebranding of the former Partners HealthCare system that includes Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, both in Boston. The rebrand, announced in 2019, will reportedly cost as much as $100 million.

The email switch was first reported Dec. 9 by Boston Business Journal.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
