Kentucky health system mourns marketing, communications vice president

Lexington, Ky. -based health system CHI Saint Joseph Health is mourning the unexpected death of marketing and communications Vice President Jeff Murphy.

Mr. Murphy died  Aug. 13. He had worked in the marketing and communications department at CHI Saint Joseph Health since 1991, according to the Aug. 15 CHI Saint Joseph Health news release provided to Becker’s.

“Jeff greeted everyone with a smile and his human kindness touched the lives of so many people across our ministry and in our community,” said Anthony Houston, EdD, CEO of CHI Saint Joseph Health. “He mentored many marketing and communications professionals over his three decades of service and was much beloved across our ministry and the Commonwealth. Our hearts are broken. He will be greatly missed.”
