Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health and the Lehigh Valley IronPigs have announced a naming rights deal that will rename the team’s Allentown, Pa., stadium Jefferson Park starting with the 2027 season.
The ballpark, currently known as Coca-Cola Park, is home to the IronPigs, the Philadelphia Phillies’ Triple-A affiliate. The deal extends a partnership between Jefferson and the IronPigs that spans more than 20 years.
“Jefferson is proud to stand alongside the IronPigs in a partnership that reflects our commitment to strengthen the communities in which we serve,” Jefferson CEO Joseph Cacchione, MD, said in a September news release. He added the deal builds on Jefferson’s planned Jefferson Lehigh Valley Classic and its broader investment in the region.
IronPigs co-owner Joe Finley said the agreement “will have a meaningful impact on the future of our ballpark and team” and create new opportunities for fans and community partners.
The IronPigs have played in Allentown since the Phillies affiliate launched in 2008 and will continue hosting home games at the renamed park for decades to come, according to the announcement.
Jefferson, one of the largest nonprofit academic health systems in the Mid-Atlantic, operates 33 hospital campuses and more than 700 outpatient and urgent care sites across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The naming rights deal follows Jefferson’s 2024 merger with Allentown-based Lehigh Valley Health Network, which expanded the system’s footprint into the Lehigh Valley region the IronPigs call home.
