The company’s health-services branch will be named GE HealthCare and will be listed on the Nasdaq Stock Market under the symbol “GEHC,” according to GE’s press release.
The spinoff, which is expected to be completed early next year, comes as GE looks to split into three distinct companies that specialize in healthcare, energy and aviation.
