Shivdev Rao, MD. Executive Vice President of UPMC Enterprises (Pittsburgh). Dr. Rao combined his cardiovascular training, research and technology interests to become one of UPMC’s leading digital health strategists. He served as the vice president of clinical innovation strategy at UPMC before being promoted to executive vice president of UPMC Enterprises in October 2016. Dr. Rao is part of a team that aims to change healthcare by improving quality while lowering costs through capital investments. UPMC awarded him the James Shaver Award for Outstanding Technology in 2013.
