Mike Pykosz, JD. Co-founder and CEO of Oak Street Health (Chicago). Since co-founding Oak Street Health in January 2013, Mr. Pykosz has overseen the company’s growth to serve 30,000 patients, operate 20 clinics and employ more than 760 as of 2017. The company focuses on providing medical and social services to Medicare enrollees. Crain’s Chicago named Mr. Pykosz in its 40 under 40 in 2017. Before his tenure at Oak Street Health, he was a principal at Boston Consulting Group. He has experience developing community outreach strategies for low-income adults and works to provide risk-based contracting focused on primary care and lowering unnecessary care utilization.
