Optum Labs, a partnership between Optum, a technology-enabled health services business, and Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic, was created in January 2013 as a center for research and innovation.

“These additional charter partners will help Optum Labs accelerate the pace of innovation, paving the way for exciting new research initiatives that can be directly translated to improvements in patient care,” said Paul Bleicher, MD, PhD, CEO of Optum Labs, in the news release.
