Los Robles Hospital Partners With USC Urology Institute

Thousand Oaks, Calif.-based Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center has partnered with the USC Institute of Urology, bringing one of the institute’s physicians to the hospital campus.

Mihir Desai, MD, the director of robotic urologic surgery at the USC Institute of Urology, will treat patients at Los Robles Hospital.

“This collaboration will enable high-quality care in robotic urologic surgery [to] be delivered locally in the community and represents a future trend in collaboration between academic medical centers and high-quality community hospitals,” Dr. Desai said in a news release.
