Here are four top AI uses at the health system, according to a Nov. 11 World Economic Forum article:

1. The Housing-Based Socioeconomic Status, or Houses, Index uses publicly available property data to calculate a patient’s socioeconomic status.

2. An AI-powered ECG predicts the likelihood of patients having heart conditions including amyloidosis, atrial fibrillation and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

3. A computer vision-based smartphone app interprets rapid tuberculosis tests.

4. An algorithm analyzes CT scans to predict pancreatic cancer an average of 16 months before a clinical diagnosis.
