Holy Name Medical Center Institute for Simulation Learning (Teaneck, N.J.). The Institute for Simulation Learning at Holy Name Medical Center offers clinicians, medical students, administrators and corporate professionals opportunities to practice skills and protocols in customized simulation settings similar to their actual work environments. The facility combines patient simulators, audiovisual systems and trained staff to mirror a variety of medical situations, including obstetric emergencies, cardiac arrest and opioid overdose response. The Institute for Simulation Learning has trained more than 5,000 healthcare professionals, first responders and corporate clients since opening in 2013.
