Digital health: Who’s up, who’s down

The digital health market is constantly changing, with startups coming onto the scene and more established companies restructuring their strategies.

Companies that had a good week:

  1. Medtech company Oxos Medical raised $23 million in a round co-led by Intel Capital. 
  2. Royal Philips was tapped by New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health as a monitoring partner.

 

Companies that had a bad week:

  1. Telehealth company Cerebral is facing a lawsuit accusing the company of installing tracking technologies. 
  2. Consulting company Adelanto HealthCare Ventures was targeted in a phishing attack that led to a data breach at Denison, Texas-based Texoma Medical Center.
