Digital health: Who's up, who's down

The digital health market is constantly changing, with new startups coming onto the scene and more established companies restructuring their strategies.

Companies that had a good week:

  1. Health tech company Zeplis acquired healthcare payment processing company Payspan for an undisclosed amount.
  2. Northwell Holdings and Aegis Ventures launched Upliv. Upliv is a digital health company focusing on providing menopause care.

Companies that had a bad week:

  1. Big tech disruptors, including Amazon, Twitter and Meta, either paused hiring or conducted mass layoffs, many citing worsening economic headwinds.
