Tennessee health system back online after network outage

Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger is back online after a network outage Jan. 22.

The health system said its systems are fully restored, and that the incident was not related to any type of cyberattack.

Erlanger had to cancel elective surgeries and close some outpatient specialty locations Jan. 22. “We appreciate the patience and understanding of our patients while our teams worked to address the situation and restore services,” the health system stated.
