The one-hospital system went into downtime procedures after the cyberattack. The Frederick Health Village Lab is the only facility that is closed.

“We are making significant progress in restoring systems and processes and expect to recover from this experience stronger and more resilient than ever,” Frederick Health President and CEO Tom Kleinhanz said in a Feb. 6 statement. “I am incredibly grateful for the dedication of our employees, medical staff and volunteers.”

The health system said patients can continue to expect certain delays and electronic prescription requests and the patient portal are still unavailable.
