To develop the app, New Hanover teamed up with Gozio Health, a mobile GPS platform that aims to improve hospital navigation. The platform will provide navigation inside six New Hanover hospital and healthcare facilities as well as 58 off-site clinics.
With the app, patients and visitors will receive step-by-step directions to locations within New Hanover facilities as well as access to physician directories, medical records via MyChart and urgent care wait times, among other resources.
