The calculator retrieves customized physician compensation data from HealtheCareers and Doximity, which draws from the self-reported compensation surveys completed by more than 36,000 physicians.
The tool allows physicians to narrow results by specialty, state and type of location, giving the option to get instant results or a written report via email. Physicians can also adjust results according to sign-on bonus, residency stipend, relocation assistance and student loan repayment.
