The post-acute and long-term care provider’s $10,000 signing bonus is available for five open positions at Kindred hospitals in Louisville, as well as for RNs in California, New Mexico, Missouri, Colorado and Georgia. Signing bonuses starting at $2,000 are available for RNs in several other markets.

Susan Moss, a senior vice president of marketing and communications at Kindred, said the company is facing increased demand for RNs.

“Kindred’s Sign-on-Bonus is an investment in our clinicians and displays a commitment to their career growth and longevity with our organization,” Ms. Moss told Louisville Business First.

The bonuses come as Kindred shrunk its net loss in the third quarter of fiscal year 2017 after selling or closing 21 long-term acute care hospitals.
