Boston Hospital CEOs Rake in Millions in 2010

Seven-figure pay is the new norm in Boston, as the CEOs of the city's largest hospitals and health systems earned between $1 million and $3.1 million in 2010, according to a Boston Globe report.

Here is the 2010 compensation data for the CEOs of Boston's largest non-profit systems, which was turned in to Attorney General Martha Coakley's office this week.

•    Gary Gottlieb, MD, CEO of Partners HealthCare: $3.1 million
•    Peter Slavin, MD, CEO of Massachusetts General Hospital: $2.5 million
•    James Mandell, MD, CEO of Boston Children's Hospital: $2 million
•    Elizabeth Nabel, MD, CEO of Brigham and Women's Hospital: $1.6 million
•    Ellen Zane, former CEO of Tufts Medical Center: $1.6 million
•    Kate Walsh, CEO of Boston Medical Center: $1.3 million
•    Edward Benz, MD, CEO of Dana-Faber Cancer Institute: $1.1 million
