3 of 10 US jobs with highest cash bonuses are in healthcare

Annual bonuses are not just reserved for top executives, nor are they limited to certain jobs or industries. However, three out of the 10 U.S. jobs with the highest annual cash bonuses are in healthcare, according to analysis from LinkedIn.

The world's largest professional network, which has more than 400 million members, used its LinkedIn Salary tool to assess careers and industries in the U.S. that took home the highest annual bonuses in 2016, excluding C-suite titles.

Here are the 10 jobs with the highest annual cash bonuses, according to LinkedIn.

  1. Investment Banking Associate — $100,000
  2. Surgeon — $60,000
  3. Radiologist — $47,500
  4. Investment Banking Analyst — $45,000
  5. Medical Director — $40,000
  6. Commercial Director — $35,000
  7. Global Marketing Director — $34,500
  8. Senior Portfolio Manager — $34,000
  9. Senior Corporate Counsel — $31,000
  10. Equity Research Analyst — $30,000

When sorted by industry, healthcare had the seventh highest annual cash bonus of $5,500. Energy and mining was No. 1 with $10,000, and corporate services was No. 10 with $5,000.
