Trey Abshier. CEO of Florida Medical Center, a campus of North Shore (Fort Lauderdale). Mr. Abshier took on the role of CEO at Florida Medical Center fairly recently — in January of this year. Before joining the 459-bed medical center, he served as COO of Delray Beach, Fla.-based Delray Medical Center for two years, where he oversaw the construction of a four-story patient tower and the addition of a cardiac rehabilitation department. Mr. Abshier is also the former COO of the Regional Medical Center of San Jose (Calif.).
