Ben Adams, DO. Vice Chief of Medical Staff of Terrebonne General Medical Center (Houma, La.). In April 2015, Dr. Adams, a cardiothoracic anesthesiologist, was appointed vice chief of medical staff for 2015-16 at Terrebonne General Medical Center. As the only transesophageal echocardiogram board-certified physician at the medical center, he has played an integral role in significantly improving TGMC’s structural heart program. Dr. Adams, who received his DO from Pikeville (Ky.) College School of Osteopathic Medicine, began his career at TGMC in 2009. He completed his residency at Richmond-based Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine/Medical College of Virginia and his fellowship at New Orleans-based Ochsner Clinic Foundation.
