James Hinton. President and CEO of Presbyterian Health Services (Albuquerque). As president and CEO of Presbyterian, Mr. Hinton heads up the state’s largest healthcare provider. He joined Presbyterian in 1983 and took on his current role in 1995. Outside of his leadership roles at the New Mexico system, Mr. Hinton has been on the board of trustees of the American Hospital Association and formerly chaired the AHA’s Committee on Research and the Operations Committee. He earned a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Arizona State University.
