David J. Bailey, MD. President and CEO of Nemours (Jacksonville, Fla.). Dr. Bailey has been at the helm of Nemours, an integrated children’s health system that includes two freestanding hospitals in the Delaware Valley and Florida and 45 clinics in four states, since 2006. Under his leadership, both Nemours hospitals achieved HIMSS stage 7 and several other recognitions of excellence. Currently, Dr. Bailey is leading the system through a culture transformation using lean principles. Dr. Bailey was a pediatric gastroenterologist for more than 16 years and earned his medical degree from Penn State University.
