Morgantown, W.Va.-based WVU Medicine has doubled the size of its Center for Reproductive Medicine and opened new services to families.

The center was established in 2002 and offers individualized treatment options for reproductive conditions, including fertility care, assisted reproductive procedures, lab services and genetic testing, according to a June 27 system news release. In the last seven years, the amount of completed patient visits have doubled and there has been a 43% increase in lab visits.

To meet the increasing demand, the center expanded to occupy all floors of its current building, which doubled the square footage. The center will also collaborate with other WVU Medicine clinics to provide access to all types of care for patients, as well as upgrade its andrology and embryology labs.
