Presbyterian Healthcare Moves Up Completion of New Hospital

Charlotte, N.C.-based Presbyterian Healthcare has moved up the expected completion of its planned $90 million hospital in Mint Hill, N.C., from 2018 to 2016, according to a Charlotte Observer report.

Novant Health, the parent company of Presbyterian, received approval to build the 50-bed hospital in 2006. Construction on the facility began in 2011, following several years of delay. Presbyterian originally planned to build the hospital in phases but recently decided to revise its plans due anticipated growth in the area, according to the report.
