Pioneer Valley Accountable Care (Springfield, Mass.). Pioneer Valley Accountable Care, a Next Generation ACO, is affiliated with Springfield-based Baycare Health Partners, a physician hospital organization. PVAC serves Medicare beneficiaries throughout western Massachusetts. Its 20-member board contains 13 physicians, three health system executives, two managed care organization executives, one consumer advocate and one Medicare fee-for-service beneficiary.
