Physician Organization of Michigan ACO (Ann Arbor, Mich.). In January 2013, POM ACO joined CMS’ Medicare Shared Savings Program. Since then, the ACO expanded to encompass 5,700 physicians and providers from 12 physician groups. POM ACO now cares for approximately 12,000 Medicare Michiganders. In 2014, the latest year for which data is available, it generated $12.08 million in shared savings, making it the No. 3 earner in the MSSP.
