Hospital officials told the publication a sprinkler head burst around 7:30 a.m., prompting the flooding. No injuries were associated with the incident.
Patients in the hospital’s labor and delivery and intensive care units were relocated, according to lohud.com.
“Our staff worked together immediately to relocate our patients to unaffected areas in the hospital and all are safe,” a hospital spokesperson told Becker’s Aug. 15. “We are currently assessing the impacted areas to understand when we can move patients back into that wing.”
