New York clinic extends closure due to continued staffing shortages

Watertown, N.Y.-based Samaritan Medical Center announced its imaging and lab center would be closed for a third day due to a lack of staff, CBS affiliate WWNY reported Aug. 23.

The clinic was initially closed Aug. 22-23; it was slated to reopen Aug. 24.

Patients requiring imaging and lab services are still being directed to the hospital’s main registration area, according to the report.
